Where Have I Been?

Where Have I Been?

Welcome all the new subscribers who have joined us! You have taken a leap of faith by entering your email and trusting me to provide consistent written content, but I haven't been able to deliver on that promise yet as I went AWOL.

I apologise for not following through with my promise to write consistently after my re-introduction post. Life got in the way and I was unable to focus on writing weekly features. I'm taking this as a lesson to do what works for me and will be comfortable with writing and posting on an ad-hoc basis until I can deliver consistently.

A special shout out to Eros Prandini who encouraged me to "start small". Check out his IG page for content that helps you be more intentional in life and reach your goals faster.

Previously, I have written valuable blog posts that digest key content from podcast episodes. You can read them here: https://www.valuablepodcast.com/.

Now for the update on where I have been and some cool things, I’ve been fortunate enough to do.

Purpose Led Podcast Guest Appearance

For the first time, I joined someone else's podcast as a guest this year. I was the FIRST guest of the year, on the Purpose Led podcast. In this episode, we explored my journey into creating the Valuable podcast and why it is important to add value.

The Valuable Retreat

I hosted The Valuable Retreat, where I took 35 people from the podcast community to Daventry, Northamptonshire for a weekend retreat. During this weekend we spent time reflecting, learning and building community together. Workshops held included buying your first property, communicating effectively and becoming a content creator.

We also hosted our first private dinner & live podcast show. It was truly an amazing experience and the foundation for building the Valuable Community. I hope to connect with most of you who are reading this in person this year!

Trip to the USA

After closing out the year 2022 in reflection, I decided to use January as a reset month. I hit the reset button on a lot of priorities including my day job. I took some time out to celebrate my Uncle's 50th birthday in the states and tour New York City with my cousins. It was the best decision I’ve ever made. Family is so important and sometimes it takes hitting the reset button to appreciate your family first as well as the community you serve.

Part-time fashionista, thanks to my stylist: @everydaystylewithmn
